New Venture in the Horizon

Back to reality it is, and it's been two weeks of fighting with my body to try to adjust to the time change. After spending so much time in my "transitional" R n R, it's time to get back to the regular training and discipline especially on the food side. It's amazing how hard it is to lose those unwanted pounds, and how quickly they find you again. Those little indulgences are no longer a choice and now have to be reserved to perhaps once per year.
For the second half of this year, I'm excited and scared at the same time. You see, I've signed up for my first marathon ever. This is going to be totally new to me, so it's with a lot of excitement that I will start my focus on my new venture next week. It will be like the first day of school. Can't wait!
In the meantime, I will enjoy this wonderful place I also call home with some great friends and family.
Me ke aloha
